The Rules of Monkeyland
Before I walk you in to the reception where you can buy your ticket for your one hour guided tour through or indigenous forest, I'd like to go over some rules with you we have here at Monkeyland.
First of all, all of our monkeys are free roaming, which means none of our monkeys are in cages, they are all running around in the wild. So we ask you not to feed, touch or play with our monkeys. This is for our Monkeys, but most off all your safety.
Please don`t scream when you see a Monkey, remain calm. If you don`t scare them, they won't scare you.
You are allowed to take as many pictures as you want, but we do ask you to keep a 2 meters or 6 feet distance, this also for your own and the monkey`s safety
Monkeys are notorious for stealing stuff, so if you take pictures it is best to leave the strap of your camera around your neck or wrist, so our monkeys can`t snatch it of you.
Don`t leave sunglasses on as well, our Monkeys will take them as soon as they get the chance. If you can`t see without glasses your guide will warn you when you are walking through a high risk area. As it are only just a certain type of Monkeys who like to steal glasses.
In general it is best to safely but away any valuables like car keys, wallets, phones, ...
You can bring water in the park but no cookies or any other food. Monkeys like everything!
If you leave our Monkeys alone, they will leave you alone.
So enjoy your tour !
